Watoto Choir 2012

Watoto Childrens Choirt

We had the great prviledge of being part of hosting the Watoto choir again this year. Working along side 4 other churches in the area, we are together raising awareness about the great work of Watoto.

On behalf of the Watoto Children's choir we would really like to thank everyone who came on the evening. We also want to thank those who helped to feed them, the sound teams, the stewards, drinks team and all who helped to make the evening such a wonderful privilege to be part of – you know who you are. We also want to say a special thank you to the host families who opened up their home to the children and adults in the choir.

The generosity of everyoneenabled an amazing £7636.88 to be raised (including gift aid), with an additional amount on Watoto merchandise. We hope the choir have inspired you and given you their wonderful message of hope. For additional information on Watoto, you can visit their website www.watoto.com Thank you all for your support.

"What a blessing", "Incredibly moving", "I wish I'd invited someone with me" were just some of the many comments given by those who had the priveldge of seeing the Watoto Children's choir.

For those of us who help to organise and be apart of their time in Milton Keynes is is an inforgettable experience that we all cherish. The children are an absolute blessing and their stories are one of great hope.
